First point, This country was founded on freedom OF not from religion. I am also Going to be honest I don't know what you mean by "Tax exempt status" please elaborate. The Bible has been proven many times to be the most historically accurate book describing its time. and there has not been a single thing in the Bible that has been officially disproven ex. the parting of the red sea, there are still Egyptian chariots at the bottom of it. The destruction of Sodom an Gomorra, there are still pure sulfur deposits at the place it was, as well as the abundance of volcanic rock and glass. Also check the dead sea scrolls while researching my argument.
