Let’s get real. Biden supported Ukraine since his VP days? Yeah—because Ukraine was already under pressure from Russia back then. But supporting a sovereign democracy ≠ causing a war. Russia made that decision. And again—Crimea was invaded before Biden even ran for president. If Biden being pro-Ukraine justifies invasion, then I guess every country with U.S. allies is fair game for war?
And Ukraine barely holding on? Yeah, and yet… they’re still standing. That’s kind of the point of helping them. Biden didn’t start the fire—he’s just handing out buckets so democracy doesn’t burn to ash.
NATO membership for Ukraine has been a topic since 2008—under Bush, then Obama, then Trump—and all through that time, Ukraine never got actual membership. Russia invaded Crimea in 2014, before Biden was even president. The war escalated in 2022 because Putin miscalculated. Supporting Ukraine doesn’t ‘prolong’ the war—it prevents them from being conquered.
