This is true and all, whether it is a joke or not, but most furries do it for fun and as a hobby. But yeah, I get where you're coming from. No one can be truly disassociated from who they biologically are, as when you said about the transgenders, they may be identify as 'this' but they are not truly 'this' and still are 'that', but I was responding only to the furry part that most furries do it. And I'll say it once more: as a hobby, so they most obviously know they are not true animals. But I'm not a furry, so what do I know? But I do agree with what you said, whether it's a joke or not.
