Here is a descriptive history of the Tora platform at the time it is shut down, if you don't know:

Tora was born in 2012 as a forum and image board, providing a space for users to engage in discussions and share content on various subjects. The platform quickly gained popularity, attracting users from diverse backgrounds and interests. During its early years, Tora was known for its eclectic mix of topics, with users sharing their thoughts on psychology, art, music, and lifestyle. The website's user-generated content and open discussion format made it a hub for creative expression and intellectual exploration.

In 2018, Tora was acquired by Sproutling Entertainment Group (SEG), a company that owns several popular intellectual properties, including Psych2Go and Sproutlings. SEG's acquisition of Tora marked a significant turning point in the website's history, as it brought new resources and opportunities for growth. Under SEG's ownership, Tora continued to operate, with the company investing in the platform's development and moderation.

Despite the efforts made by SEG, Tora's user base began to decline over time. The reasons for this decline are multifaceted, but it is likely that the rise of other social media platforms and changes in user behavior contributed to the website's decreasing popularity.

After six years under SEG's ownership, Tora was shut down in the summer of 2024. The decision to close the website was reportedly due to low user activity, making it unsustainable to continue operating as a standalone platform. According to SEG, the company's resources were being underutilized, and it was decided that the best course of action was to fold Tora's remaining content and user base into another SEG-owned platform, Tattacom.

Tattacom, a VoIP communication and social gallery website/app, was launched in 2023 as an open beta. The platform allows users to communicate with each other through voice and video calls, as well as share images and other content. By integrating Tora's user base and content into Tattacom, SEG aimed to create a more robust and diverse community.

Although Tora is no longer a standalone website, its legacy lives on through its former users, who have now migrated to Tattacom. The content created on Tora, including discussions and artwork, will continue to be available on the new platform. While the shutdown of Tora marks the end of an era, it also represents a new chapter for the community that once thrived on the website.
