Nah, I agree with Gillette 100% and it’s about time they said what should be known. Having to tell grown men that it’s disrespectful to be shitty to a woman or to bully people is incredible. This is common sense and decency as a human being. There’s nothing wrong with being masculine, but when you use your masculinity as a weapon to oppress others, than you’re a toxic pathetic human being. They aren’t saying being masculine is toxic, they’re saying bullying other guys for not being masculine enough, treating women like shit, and generally being a dick to everyone is toxic masculinity because guys who are masculine but do these things aren’t toxic.
