I'm the mom and this happens to me all the time! I slave all day and then my family dumps more dishes on me! I do all the dishes, then husband come home from late shift at work and eats. The sink is full of dishes again the next morning! (sorry I had to rant)

He has a room in the basement. He eats downstairs. I finish washing dishes, then he brings up basket full of dishes.
