I can blame the adults for the position the kids are into a point but I cannot blame what adult decisions are made that only add to the trauma of a child. I watched some of the debates, when I was able to, and do not recall any democrat saying that want open borders. I have heard them all say they want reform but not open borders. Forgive me, but my concern is not dem or rep, only these children. One child comes to mind who complains of his heart hurting. Now, this child was barely five, unable to speak English has no idea why he was taken and should not be locked in a cage without the necessities and an explanation, hope, and prayers. But, this country's so-called leaders CHOSE to close the legal entries and we now have a real crisis. As a parent, as a grandmother, this is disgraceful. Just my opinion, but if we do not stop looking at our country as left or right and start uniting, we will not be what we know America to be and we are not far from that now. I have been a dem all my life, a LONG time, and I have never experienced the hate and fear and loss of humanity as exists today. It breaks my heart. I recall something a friend to me who is older than me I am glad I am closer to the tomb than the womb. When our country falls and divided, we will fall I prefer not to be here. Thanks for respecting my opinion.
No one wants open borders but it does not justify this inhumanity, period. If you can condone this, and sleep too, more power to you but I cannot and will not be silent.
