That pretty much sums it up. Only now it's not physical they're going after democracy with Jim Crow era laws, denial, senate openly admitting to blocking anything from President Biden even if it will help, and more crazy conspiracy theories from senators. The GOP once known as The Grand Old Party is now just a shell covering up the slimy things living inside

Conservative party generally opposes anyone who doesn't conform to " there are only two sexes, Male and female. You're born one or the other and should stay the way God intended" rhetoric. They consistently make laws preventing LGBTQ people from marrying, insurance coverage, adoption rights, allowing them to be addressed by the he/she they relate to, competing with the gender they live as...etc. While liberals are much more accepting and inclusive of LGBTQ people and their right to live their best life.
After all these things it's hard to imagine any LGBTQ person not hating the conservative party that literally wants nothing to do with them. I certainly would assume them to be liberal too. Guess I will have to make an effort not to. When I think about it it makes my blood boil the way conservatives treat the LGBTQ community. But to each his own, is my belief, as long as it's not at someone else's stake. Love over Hate 🌈🤷‍♀️❤
