That kinda fell flat all things considered, especially when Mo and Hoffman pitched in the time when starting pitchers would normally pitch 220 to even 250 innings a season. Sandy throwing over 220 innings with 6 complete games may seem a lot to you in this day and age but compare to the 1990s and 2000s, that's more on a normal side. Never mind that it's not like he was throwing 30 complete games in a season like in the 1970s either so using him to crap on those two closers is pretty weak. Plus seeing what happened to Sandy after that season in particular...
