Scene I, Act 1
[Rockwellian setting of Crosbyesque American, pipe in mouth, cuppa next to pen, flurries of non-global warming white flakes falling outside the window, list of Dear Ones at hand, glowing countenance of Christmas cheer, signing cards…]
“Peace on earth.”
Act 2
[Rapper-esque scratching of needle across LP record…]
Act 3
[Enter: the ghost of Rod Serling from the shadows.]
“This man writes “Peace on Earth,” but he should be writing, “[Bleep] the Fed.” He does not know that his nation is at war with him. In 1913 a central bank was created, called the Federal Reserve. Its purpose is to charge interest on his nation’s own money. Interest, in older terms, was called “usury.” Every major religion’s holy book condemns usury, except as a method of warfare to destroy its enemies. His national debt is up to almost $18 Trillion, yet if all the gold [allegedly] in Ft. Knox (147.4 million ounces) were applied, it would cover under 1 percent of the amount due. If all the gold in the whole world were applied, it would pay less than one-third of the debt. If this man thinks he can violate eternal, universal law and live in “peace,” he is living in The Twilight Zone.
