Too many to ignore in politics

The left raising hell? The hell that the left is raising right now is a direct response to the massive hell the republicans have been raising over literally lies and propaganda. This presidency is mirroring the third reich way too closely for comfort.

At the most FOUR transgender shooters compared to literally hundreds, even thousands, of non-transgender shooters. A LOT of violence happens every day that just isn't reported on. It IS about statistics. Statistics shows you trends.

July 2017: During a speech to law enforcement officers in Long Island, New York, Trump seemingly encouraged police officers to be rough with people they were arresting, per ABC News. "Please don't be too nice," he told the audience.

October 2018: While speaking at a Montana campaign rally, Trump publicly praised Montana's then-Rep. Greg Gianforte (R) — the state's current governor — for previously assaulting a reporter. "Any guy that can do a body slam, he is my type!" Trump said.

May 2020: Trump used violent rhetoric when referring to protests in Minneapolis in the wake of George Floyd’s killing, tweeting, "when the looting starts, the shooting starts." The phrase has a racist history going back to police brutality against Black Americans in the 1960s, per the New York Times.

September 2020: Trump lauded law enforcement officers for killing Michael Forest Reinoehl, a self-described Antifa member suspected of killing a right-wing activist the previous month. "That’s the way it has to be. There has to be retribution," Vox reported.

September 2020: When offered the chance to unequivocally condemn white supremacist violence during the first presidential debate, Trump failed to do so, instead telling the far-right Proud Boys that they should "stand back and stand by."

January 2021: At a rally preceding the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, Trump repeated false claims that the 2020 election had been stolen and told supporters that "we're going to walk down to the Capitol," adding that "you'll never take back our country with weakness."

People who celebrate the killing of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk should be held accountable, US Vice-President JD Vance has said. (what about freedom of speech republicans are always talking about?)

"Call them out, and hell, call their employer," Vance said as he guest-hosted an episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.

Vance's remarks come as other Republican US lawmakers echoed calls for those publicly celebrating Kirk's death to be punished.

"I will demand their firing, defunding, and license revocation," said Florida congressman Randy Fine in a post on X on Sunday, as he called for such people to "be thrown out of civil society".

South Carolina congresswoman Nancy Mace urged the Department of Education to "cut off every dime to any school or university" that refuses to retaliate against employees making insensitive posts about Kirk.

I could go on and on and on...

Kirk said on an April 2022 episode of his podcast that trans people are responsible for inflation. There is no evidence to suggest the two issues are even remotely related, nor did he provide any.

Kirk blamed the so-called "decline of American men” on trans equality in an interview with failed college swimmer Riley Gaines, saying people should have “just took care of” trans people “the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s and 60s" — which independent journalist Erin Reed notes notes included lobotomies, shock therapy, and involuntary institutionalization. Others interpreted it as advocating for lynchings or physical violence against trans people.

Kirk said in an April 2024 episode of his podcast, clipped by Media Matters, that doctors who provide gender-affirming care should be prosecuted like the Nazis were after World War II.

When asked if he would support his children if they came out as gay or trans, Kirk said he would not, calling trans identities a "social contagion" that can be explained by "the autism spectrum" and "puberty anxiety."

In a June 2023 tweet, Kirk once again incorrectly referred to gender-affirming care as "mutilation."

"Cis is a slur. 'Sex assigned at birth' is a logical fallacy," Kirk wrote. "Gender Affirming Care is child mutilation. Minor Attracted Persons are pedophiles. Trans is a mental delusion. Reclaim the language they stole from us."

Gender-affirming surgeries among minors are incredibly rare. There is no evidence of surgeries being performed on trans youth under the age of 12, according to a recent study in JAMA, and only 2.1 out of every 100,000 trans youth ages 15 to 17 received surgery — the vast majority being chest surgeries. Significantly more teenage girls get breast implants than trans teens get chest surgeries, and out of 151 breast reductions performed on American minors in 2019, 146 (97 percent) were performed on cisgender males. (I DO agree with kirk that minor attracted persons are pedophiles.)

I could go on and on and on and on and on. These words, although he was free to speak them, incited violence against a minority, trans people. Inciting violence is evil. This means kirk was evil. Evil men should not be cried over. Evil men should not be honored.
