But let's be honest, we all can think of something better. I honestly think Disney needs to take a break and think of something the people will enjoy and actually feel a special connection like they did all those years ago. Take Coco for example. Brilliant movie, excellent plot twists, hidden details that foreshadow the truth, and a heartfelt ending. I felt a strong connection from that movie and I know lots of people felt the same too.
we can think of better, original ideas for Disney movies.
For example, we can think of a couple in which their dream was to go to South America, but they couldn't make the money because of all these things that happened. Eventually the wife dies due to her old age. The old man wants to make his wife's dying wish come true by going to South America himself! While watching TV, he hears a knock on the door and answers it. A fat cub scout asks him for help so he can get a badge for assisting the elderly. He denies the boy and slams the door on his foot. Minutes later, he found himself in a lawsuit for assaulting a man touching his mailbox, he was forced to go into a retirement home. When the day came for him to leave his house, a giant curtain falls from his roof, revealing billions of balloons, all of which are attached from the chimney. The house rises from the ground and flies through the bustling city. While the man sits on his chair, he hears a knock. He remains sitting down until he was met with another knock at the door. Confused, he approaches the door and opens it. He looks around and is shocked to find out that the cub scout managed to stowaway on his porch.
A storm approaches causing several balloons to pop, eventually leaving the house to come to a destination. They have arrived in South America but they are on the other side of their desired location: Paradise Falls!
Will the old man and cub scout reach their destination? What crazy conundrums will they face along the way? Find out in theaters on May 29, 2009 for the new Disney Movie "UP"
