my comment was meant in context of US history, not world history. thought that was kind of obvious but go off i guess.you also fully went off topic after the origin of the word slave coming from the Slavs. sure "blacks sold other blacks" thats not entirely true, the arrival of slave traders with weapons created and arms race, Africans arent just one big group, there we many different ethnic groups who saw each other as rivals, such ethnic groups include Yoruba, Igbo, Urhobo, Dahomey, Itsekiri, Ashanti, Fante, Ga or any of the hundreds of West African ethnic groups, who often went to war against each other. When Europeans slave traders didnt kidnap people to send on their ships, they went to people of importance within different ethnic groups in exchange for weapons. the whole "black people sold themselves" is just racist propaganda thats stopping you from realizing that africa isnt just one country or one group. the politcal powers just took an oppurtunity to be more powerfull than their opponents by removing their man force and getting better weaponry in exchange.
i wasnt saying that white people dont have it bad, too things can be good at once, however, when i said "black people have it worse" in the context of american history, its just a fact.
Woops sorry, misspelling, i meant enslaved Also i was not aware of that, but i what i meant is that Italian people in america did suffer, but that black people did suffer more, historically
cus throughout alot of time in history, black and african history was never taught and over time has been slowly been fading from history books, this is known as "white washing". Black History Month was created to combat that and promote equality for black people
