Next time use the term Kardashian, or "Insert_dumb_celeb_here". Categorizing all celebrities as dumb is ignorant. Imagine the government was going to force you and 1,000 of your neighbors to move in the interest of a big conglomerate oil company and "Some celebrity" used his fame to protest against it.
Yes, free speech should ONLY be circumstantial and NOT an individuals free will... Its the equivalent of saying: "I wish idiots didn't use IMGFLIP.com to tell others how to use other platforms to promote ideas/discussions..."
Also you could say that both Hillary and Trump used their "celebrity" to promote their political views.. Can we please use some critical thinking?
I once thought like this and its still sort of funny in regards to some people but the scary part is that people actually think like this still aside from the joke.
An easy look into this is to apply this idea to any human right:
Why do you need privacy if you're not doing anything wrong?
Why do you need free speech when the government can talk for you?
Why do you need gun rights when the government can protect you?
Why do you need rights to your property when the government can maintain it for you and tell you what you can or cannot do?
Why do you need any rights?
