This shows someone using the Heimlich maneuver. It helps remove food stuck in a person's airway. Ask if they are choking and get help. Call 911 if they cannot breathe or speak. Knowing first aid can save lives.

this meme Is funny because I am smiling at my friend while they are choking, but actually know what to do because Mr Gomez taught me first aid. If someone is choking, first ask if they can speak, breathe, or cough. if they can cough forcefully, encourage them to keep coughing. if they cannot breathe or speak, get an adult and call 911 while someone trained in first aid gives abdominal thrusts. Knowing proper first aid can help save someone's life in an emergency.
