Eggyhead stood in a barren field. He looked up to the planets sun. Taraki. The bright blue star of Asteri. His target.
He crouched down, prepared himself, put all his power into his legs, and pushed off the planet. A massive crater formed as Eggyhead flew, at extreme speed towards Taraki. He knew this was dangerous. Stars were his biggest weakness. But weakness wasn't an option for him.
After about a minute he reached the surface of the star. He kept flying. He went deeper into the star. Even deeper, until he reached the heart of the star.
It burned. He felt his shell sizzle and melt. He pressed on. He took the Morimasa and coursed the energy in the blade.
He began to absorb the energy around him. The swords energy ate the star from the inside. Eggyhead kept his focus on the energy. The pain was unbearable. But he beared it anyways.
The star changed. It became hollow, and glowed a great purple as the last of the star was consumed by the Morimasa.
It was finished.
Takari was dead. Andromeda had fallen. He sat where the star had once lived, burned and melted. But he was stronger than that. His body reshaped. The burns disappeared. His shell reformed. His clothes had burned up, and he was tired. He wanted to rest, then and there, and escape reality, if just for a few hours. But he couldn't let himself stop now.
He recreated his clothes in a great purple flame, and when the flame disappeared, he was gone, already heading to his next target.
The few remaining souls of the Correllen Empire.
But that was just the next.
Then, the king of the Stickverse.
Next the leader of the Shaderians.
Until every strong soul is gone, and their power is his, he keeps going. They would all fall. Soon enough.
As Eggyhead neared closer, Ruby was paralyzed by her fear. She couldn't move.
Eggyhead raised the Morimasa some, preparing to do something every part of him knew he shouldn't.
He raised the Morimasa more. He now looked down onto Ruby. She was so small to him.
And with a quick flick of his arm-
The Morimasa was in front of Rubys face, barely scraping by her nose.
But it never touched her.
"ONE chance." Eggyhead said sternly. "Don't be like your siblings."
Ruby suddenly realized what was happening. She snapped out of her fear, and ran as fast as she could, crying.
Eggyhead sat there. He failed again. But he was okay with it. If his will was strong enough to bring Collector back, he had the willpower to do whatever he decided.
Eggyhead sheathed the Morimasa. He turned to walk away. The voice appeared again.
"...hhhHHHEY!" Collector said angrily as he reformed. "You let her get away. I told you that morality isn't an option."
"We'll get more power." Eggyhead replied.
"We need all the power we can get." Collector retorted.
"I'll make up for it." Eggyhead said.
"And how exactly do you plan to do that???" Collector asked.
Eggyhead didn't respond. But he knew EXACTLY where to go.
Eggyhead towered above the small child. He gripped the Morimasa. He knew what he had to do. But he didn't know if he had the strength to do it. He needed to get stronger. He HAD to get stronger. But he couldn't will himself to do it. Once again, he failed t-
"You aren't gonna let another child get away, right?"
Eggyhead snapped around. He knew that voice. That voice belonged to someone he knew well. Or used to.
Collector.
"If you are going to do this, there isn't any room for morality." A phantom with Collectors shape stood in front of him. His shape shifted, and he was shrouded in a kind of mist. Parts of him were cracked, and the only part of him that could be made out was his glowing visor, piercing through the fog.
Eggyhead was visibly shaken. He killed this once-hero with his own hands. How was he standing there?
"Because of your power, Eggy." Collector said, answering the question in Eggyheads mind. "Your power... it's willing me here. Your drive. Your determination. Your willpower. You're really something."
Eggyhead was unsure why this was happening. But he realized what Collector was here for.
"To push you forward. To keep you going." Collector answered his thoughts once again. "You need to let go. Like I did. You know what we have to do."
Eggyhead knew exactly what he had to do. Just like Collector said he did.
The phantom of Collector was blown away by the wind as Eggyhead turned to Ruby. He shoved away the thoughts of morality and empathy. It did nothing to help him reach his goal. He tightened his grip on the Morimasa.
Eggy turned towards the weakened Kenshin and occupied Cataclysma.
Eggyhead stuck his hand towards the remains of the Pearlescent Muramasa and energy seeped out of the blade, up his arm, and into his eyes.
The power of the blade now was his.
He stepped forward with the Morimasa. Approaching the pair, looming over them, he spoke something.
"I want you to know something." Eggyhead said, gripping his blade.
"What..." Kenshin said as he coughed up blood and leaned upwards. "...Could a BASTARD like you possibly have to say to me?"
"..."
"You fought like your father. He would be proud." Eggyhead replied...
"And tell him I'm sorry."
With a slash, Cataclysmas healing spell was interrupted as Kenshins head slipped of his shoulders. Terror filled her face. Terror turned to denial. Denial turned to anger. Anger turned to hatred.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS YOU UTTER PIECE OF SHIT!" Cataclysma screamed in a fit of rage.
"I know." Eggyhead replied.
Cataclysma threw everything she had. Raging infernos, lightning frenzies, pure blasts of energy, without any thought behind it. Only hate for the one standing before her.
But in her frenzy, she became predictable, and with predictability...
Comes exploitation.
With a jab of the Morimasa, Cataclysma was impaled. Right through the heart. She coughed up blood.
She looked Eggyhead in the eyes and spoke.
"I... hate you... so much..."
Eggyhead tore out his blade and let her fall to the ground. Suddenly, he heard a sound. He turned to see a small, teary-eyed figure standing before him.
"Eggy... what..." Kenshin stammered. "WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
"..."
"I had to." Eggyhead replied coldly.
"Eggy?" Cataclysma realized as well. "Oh god... what happened to you..?"
"Reality."
Kenshin was enraged. Without another word, he ran forward, to avenge his father.
Kenshin and Eggyhead clashed blades. Kenshin swung the Pearlescent Muramasa down unto Eggyhead, Eggyhead pushed the Morimasa up to block it. Eggyhead overpowered Kenshin and threw him backwards. Eggyhead dashed forwards and threw a hook at Kenshin with his free hand.
Cataclysma threw up a forcefield at the last second in front of Kenshin, and Eggys fist collided with the forcefield, cracking it. Before anything else could be done, Eggyhead slashed the forcefield in half with the Morimasa.
Kenshin took advantage and threw out an upward swing with the Pearlescent Muramasa, but Eggyhead caught it in his hand. It hurt. Droplets of yolk spilled from Eggyheads hand. He didn't care. He squeezed harder. Harder. The blade cracked. But it wasn't enough to break it.
Kenshin wiggled the sword, but he couldn't get it our of Eggyheads grip. So instead, he thrust it forward.
Eggyhead swiftly moved his head out of the way. He held onto the blade and swung backwards, flinging Kenshin into a building. Cataclysma teleported to him and helped him out of the rubble.
Eggy, still holding the sword, grabs the handle of his own blade, and holds onto the Crystal of Destruction. He absorbed its energy, and coursed it into the Pearlescent Muramasa as he squeezed as tightly as he could. With the power of destruction, the blade began to fracture.
A crack. More. The blade squealed and resisted. But it could not stop the power of raw destruction.
