Change to make something more efficient that ends up causing breakdown in the system and firing trained personnel when they were already understaffed seems deliberately designed to fail.

Not getting their funds on time they could lose their homes. Having to choose between Medicine or food causes they can’t afford both. Folks will go hungry to keep the lights on. The pittance the seniors get won’t balance out the inflation.
The phone system for start when people have been calling because they didn’t receive funds or the wrong funds were deposited. Waiting on hold for 4-6 hours and having bots answer then hang up. Closing many rural offices forces people to have to go considerable distance to get the help they need.
