edit: Oh wait i just now realized you meant the description for my category (stream) !
I thought you meant my rules for submission, and I didn't think they were that strict so that confused me
I didn't mean to make the description sound so rigid, like parameters. I thought I was helping to define what I mean by "obscure film" so it would be easy for others to understand. What I put in the desc. is usually what an obscure film turns out to be (no oscars, not really any big names or at least the names attached are before they were big, etc.), and I was trying to be extra clear. i changed it. Thank you for pointing it out, I had no idea.
I'm new to memes and this site and social media in general :D (I wish streams were called categories) I had no intention to make an account at first.
There are specific things related to personal issues for why I can't follow this horror stream, and I think making a stream specific for unfamiliar horror films makes sense. That's more organized and easier to follow if there's a particular branch for a particular type of horror.
A category for horror is very broad. I want to have my category focused on horror movies, not the broad subject itself :)
Teaching did not occur to me until now, don't scare me like that :0;)
It might be hard yeah. Maybe. Horror is already niche, and then mine is niche-inside-niche. But I can't compromise on no bigotry.... and ai should be kept out of art, give it to organizing car parks..... lots of people don't want to see animal violence/gore.... and the whole point is to give some love to unknown movies, and then that's all my categories ¯\_(^_^)_/¯ I think I'm happy with the categories I have, but thank you! It's okay if it doesn't get many followers since people don't need an account to use the site. I just want to give love to little-unknowns and memes are. like. a type of language at this point.
@dmcc78
Oh I meant I am half-laughing and half-pausing at people looking at something horrifying that is supposedly real but then complaining about the shakey camera!
I think Blair Witch and the War of the Worlds radio show broadcast are good examples that demonstrate it's not too far gone to believe that some sane and sober people could be in certain circumstances to believe these things were happening/happened.
@BlossomRavenski
(does the @ thing work? I don't use the social media much.)
Yes, the social media of the 90s! Small chat rooms and message boards.... it was a different time. It's harder to trick people now.
I think I get what you mean on it being "more tamed" but could you explain further please? You mean how they used unknown actors so it felt more real and horror vs. a whole camera crew, cellphones, and such of today's ghost hunters? That it feels more like a production now?
Oh that's kind, thank you. I don't think I can follow-back, there's some stuff in your stream I can't handle, but I like poking around. I like and support the stream!
