Honestly, how do you forget your instrument? It's like the most important thing you own! I've only lost my instrument in a friends car once, but I got it back a few weeks later XD
I play the clarinet, and I own both of them. And just a few days ago, I bought my own clarinet for highschool. And listening to music is one thing, but playing it is the best thing ever if you're in band.
