I came up with this joke about 15 years ago when I was IT consulting at a company in Fort Worth, TX. A lady at their office asked me what I do, so I told her "I'm an IT Consultant, but they call me "IT" for short". Made everybody laugh.
Now, every time I think about this phrase, I laugh.
