At first, I thought Rey was the worst part of Disney's adaptation of Star Wars. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was this: At least with Rey, it's a poorly written character that has nothing to do with original canon. But with Han Solo, they completely back pedal all the character development he spent three movies making, and put him back to square one as though none of it ever happened. They completely missed the point of Solo as a character.
Tyber Zann... Ugh. He's the prototype Rey. He's a Mary Sue that comes out of nowhere and suddenly can do everything. Everything just goes his way, and everyone fears him- the Rebels, the Empire, the Hutts, the Black Sun... He's honestly probably my most hated EU character because he's basically male Rey, only minus the Force powers.
I'll defend Galen Marek for the most part, but not Zann.
