The Finnish were actually on the Nazis' side for the majority of WW2, until Finland started to negotiate for peace with the soviet union and the allies. It was then that Finland was forced into the Lapland war, which had Finland, assisted by the soviet union, push the Germany out of Lapland. Finland did successfully force Germany to retreat, but the casualties were roughly the same on both sides, and Germany continued to hold onto Finnmark, just north of Norway.

Overall, meme is okay, but the Russian version is much better. Winter War completely and utterly humiliated the USSR. In this case, it was an expected Finnish victory.
