another thing- this is just funny, he sometimes likes to hit people with his lunchbox when they are mean to him. its not good but were getting there (he's needing someone else to defend him and instead is beginning to lean towards ignoring them)

look, I have defend him when he has been bullied, worked with him on past projects and I also have an autistic brother (he's sensitive to meeting new people/being in new situations and throws tantrums when something doesn't go his way/he doesn't get what he wants). but, this time, i wished to work by myself because I was afraid that I would have a breakdown near him because of the long periods I would be overstimulated with him. I just don't want to scare him if i do but I also don't want to hurt his feelings.

To begin, there's this autistic kid [13-M] that's obsessed with being around me [14-ENBY-{AMAB}] (not attracted to me- I think.) Well call this kid Finn. Anyways, Finn is in almost all of my classes and LOVES to sit near me, show me memes about reptiles, talk to me, etc. Most of the time, this is fine (sometimes he interrupts/distracts me while I'm working). The problem is that he is often bullied and responds by squealing, chirping, yelling, and other loud noises. He also taps on his desk and clicks his mouse a lot. I get overstimulated by all these noises and feel really uncomfortable. Overall, being around him is extremely draining. He's a sweet kid but needs to respect my boundaries. He always wants to work with me, eat lunch with me, talk with me (so much that it is affecting relationships with my other friends). Last week, I was assigned the final project for my civics class. I wished to work by myself because I had a really good idea and I don't like group projects in general. However, Finn hops over and says, "do you want to work with me?". I say that I want to work alone for this project. Instead of acknowledging my response, Finn screams "YES! I'VE GOT A PARTNER!" (he then proceeds to write and sign the required partnership contract). Help me. I need a way to get out of this! Finn is too emotionally draining to work with I need advice
