IS MORMON BAPTISM OF THE DEAD BIBLICAL?
Just to clarify, Mormons do not drag corpses into their temples for this ritual of theirs. But their practice of baptism for the dead is still a non-biblical belief. Mormons do it as a supposed means of making a public profession of faith "on behalf" of a person that is already deceased. The obvious problem parallels the reason we don't accept infant baptism as a means of salvation: an infant can't make a confession of faith. At those ceremonies, when the baby fails to accept or reject Jesus, you just get a wet baby. As Protestants, that's why we reject infant baptism. But at least infants are alive. So, as a discerning Christian, if you reject baby baptism
wouldn’t you also say dead folks are not able to profess faith? And if they do, run! As a supposedly-Christian religion, why would the cult of Mormonism have a weird ritual for a dead person when there are only two outcomes at the moment of death—heaven or hell. And you stay there since it can’t be reversed. But today it’s popular to soften the harshness of hell. Saying a corpse can have a second chance may sound good and work better for recruiting followers but it eliminates the reality of hell looming as a huge motivator to get saved. When a Mormon follower does not seek salvation in their life because he or she just relies on their kids to baptize their corpse, who in the Mormon organization will take responsibility for teaching

WHY DO NON-BIBLICAL FAITHS
THAT WERE STARTED BY MAN KEEP CHANGING THEIR BELIEFS AND PRACTICES? For example, Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses continue to change their beliefs and practices as the culture changes, just as they’ve done for a long time. When caught and put against the wall for racist false teachings, both suddenly received "new light," or "new revelation,” which they always claim as being from God. How convenient is that? It's the ultimate cover for their lies. They need only say, "God gave us new information.” But they're just making it up as they go. When caught in a lie, rather than admit they messed up, they just claim another "message from God." The great news for biblical Christians is that this demonstrates the ultimate security we have with
God's Word in the Bible; i.e., once saved we can’t lose it. Scripture works for all time. We are saved forever. God never changes. And the Bible doesn’t twist or bend with the winds of cultural change. That includes God's assurance that His commands lead only to good for our entire lives. There is powerful security in that! It’s so simple for Christians: If we just stick with God’s Word in the Bible, we'll have the best possible life prior to heaven. Of course, it won't be a perfect life because we are still sinners and we will be persecuted for our Christianity. And I'm not trying to be like self-help ministries that mostly focus on “you learning to be a better you.” But we don't have to wonder how it will go for us like those who depend solely on themselves. If we just strive to do what God says,
he'll take care of us. And we know God won't change tomorrow
or next week by presenting us with the latest “New
New” Testament. That’s powerful security for Christians! | image tagged in bible, god, jesus, cult, religion, lies | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE RAPTURE? If there is one thing you don’t want to be deceived about in your whole life, it’s the Biblical truth concerning the Rapture. The Bible says those who are left behind after this next great event on God’s end-time prophetic calendar will be thrust into the 7-Year Tribulation, a time that will be no party. Instead, it’s an outpouring of God’s wrath upon this wicked and rebellious planet, turning earth into mankind’s worse nightmare. Unfortunately, there are numerous opinions on the purpose and timing of the Rapture, causing much unnecessary confusion and division. Therefore, our study, "The Rapture: Don’t Be Deceived!" takes a detective’s approach toward the biblical teaching of
the Rapture, examining the many Scriptural facts surrounding it. You will discover the Rapture’s Importance, Purpose, Timing, Objections, Positions, and Proper Attitude. This documentary is not only designed to equip and encourage you in the truth concerning the purpose and proof of the biblical Rapture, but also for motivating you to share the wonderful truth that people don’t have to be left behind at the Rapture. Through Jesus, God has provided a way out of this horrible timeframe and Christ has been warning us about this sudden shocking event for the last 2,000 years! That time is near right now so we need to get ready for it! "The Rapture: Don’t Be Deceived!” includes full length interviews with top Bible prophecy experts like Pastor
JD Farag, Terry James, Todd Strandberg, and Donald Perkins. | image tagged in rapture, end times, bible, god, jesus, apocalypse | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
