IF THE DESCRIPTION SUGGESTS THEY MADE THE MEME THEMSELVES, THEN IT IS NOT A REPOST. SHORT VIDEOS CONVERTED INTO GIFS WILL NOT BE COUNTED UNLESS THEY HAVE ACTUAL TEXT. NSFW MEMES WILL NOT BE COUNTED SINCE MOST PEOPLE WON'T LOOK AT THEM ANYWAYS, YOU HAD ONE JOB MEMES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL NOT BE COUNTED, ROLEPLAYS WILL NOT BE COUNTED, AND IF THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES IT IS A REPOST OR IF IT IS IN THE REPOST STREAM OR SHAREYOUROWNPHOTOS STREAM, ETC. RECENTLY, TOP USERS BEING ACCUSED OF REPOSTS HAS BECOME MORE AND MORE TALKED ABOUT, SO I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO SEE JUST HOW OFTEN TOP USERS ACTUALLY REPOST. KEEP IN MIND, I'M NO RESEARCHER, SO THIS DATA IS A BIT SCUFFED, BUT THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH. OVERALL, 22 PERCENT OF ALL MEMES FROM TOP USERS ARE REPOSTS. SOME ADDITIONAL THINGS I FOUND WERE THAT REPOSTS WERE LESS COMMON IN THE FUN STREAM, WEIRDLY ENOUGH. THE HIGHER ON THE LEADERBOARD A USER WAS, THE MORE LIKELY IT WAS THAT THE USER WOULD REPOST. THIS IS LIKELY DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE IS MORE PRESSURE PUT ON YOU IF YOU'RE A MORE WELL KNOWN USER, MEANING THAT MAKING MEMES REQUIRES HIGH DEMAND. ONE PERSON CAN'T THINK OF SO MANY MEMES IN SUCH A SHORT TIME, HOWEVER, SO THEY REPOST MORE OFTEN. AGAIN, I'M NO RESEARCHER, THESE FINDINGS ARE SCUFFED AND DO NOT GO AFTER ANY TOP USERS FOR THIS, THEY DON'T DESERVE HATE BECAUSE OF THIS. AS I SAID EARLIER, MOST OF THE REPOSTS WEREN'T IN THE FUN STREAM AND REPOSTS ARE GENERALLY MORE TOLERATED IN USER RUN STREAMS.
