"Learnt" is a variant of "learned" (esp. in British writing), and "alot" is an acceptable contraction of "a lot" in informal writing, such as memes.

You're right about the "it's" though.

i'll concede on learnt but not on alot. there's no acceptable / accepted contraction of these two clearly separate words!

from the article you provided: "Though common in informal communication, alot has never made its way into edited writing, and it’s generally considered a misspelling... As you can see, alot does not even register against a lot, suggesting that the one-word form does not pass through the editorial process."

I consider memes informal communication.

If you want to fight against the contraction "alot," that's fine with me. It doesn't look right. I don't like it personally, and I wouldn't put it in my memes.

But I don't think it's right to correct someone else when they use a common informal contraction in a meme, that's all. As far as I know, "alright" used to be two words, too.
