I read Ted's book and his college roomate was toward the Liberal side. and ANYTHING is better that Hillary or Bernie. Grumpy Cat, Jimmy Carter in a wig, Dean Ambrose, Bobby Jindal. Also people don't realize that if not for Cruz and 3 other Senators, every Obama gun control Law would have passed.

I think we can all agree that this election sucks. Rand, O' Malley, etc are out, and with them most of the sanity.

Not for me. I took a Quiz that showed that I agree with Ted Cruz on 91% of all issues, which didn't surprise me. I've looked at everything he's fought for and for me personally, the perfect candidate.

I did the same thing but with Bernie. My point was more that for most people, it is very likely a terrible candidate will be elected, no matter what your views.

Exactly, and if I were forced to choose between Trump and Cruz, I'd choose Cruz, but Trump gets all the attention. The choices are obvious, but the obvious choices are losing.

Oh this is the gift that keeps on giving; Craig Mazin and SEVERAL classmates of Princeton'88 have described Cruz as kinda, sorta asshole-ish. Words others (besides Craig Mazin) used: "Strident".."Intense".."Abrasive"..a "Crank".."Arrogant"..and here's my personal faves: "Friendless" and "Creepy".

And he loved to debate anything and always argued his beliefs, you see I'm not in a bubble, I just don't see those as bad qualities. Intense? Abrasive? You have to be to get your point across.

I look at everything he has done in the past for the country. Prevented Obama's gun laws after Sandy hook, prevented partial birth abortions arguing before the Supreme Court, allowing Children in California to say "Under God" in the pledge of Allegiance, protecting the Single white cross on the mohavi desert that is a memory to veterans, helped handle the case to allow citizens in Washington DC to have handguns. But, I respect your opinion. Nobody is going to agree on everything and for the most part it seems we're on the same side.
