Regardless of the product, the ad (coming from an advertising art director) is insulting. It doesn't tell anything about the product and assumes that this Thing-like nightmare is enough to convince you of the perceived value of the product. They are treating their audience like they are stupid and expecting them to buy their product.
Hmmm... maybe you're of the age for the commercial where the guy looks back on his life, getting married, having kids, says "I'll never let go." Young family guy
I LIKED THE PUPPYMONKEYBABY COMMERCIAL. IT WAS MEANT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO MAY BUY THE PRODUCT... NOT OLD GRUMPY PEOPLE WHO WOULD NEVER BUY IT NO MATTER WHAT
