i believe that i do not require "laws" to make myself behave in an appropriate manner ... are you stating that you believe you would act inappropriately if there were no "laws" in place to tell you not to do so? i would argue that you happen to be more intelligent than that.

That's not what I was saying at all, and I'm sure you knew just that before you replied.

I don't need laws to tell me how to behave either, but they exist and I can be punished for violating them. I don't see why that makes violating a law that, though tedious, wouldn't hurt you to abide by justifiable.

i believe you making this out to be more than it is, are jumping to unsubstantiated conclusions, and therefore, missing the point of the meme. you appear to be assuming that i violate traffic laws, correct? based on ... what exactly? your personal feelings about a random meme, transposed on some other random person that you've decided to dislike for some reason? that it is not what is being stated here. what is being stated, is a type of self-reflection ... that is, when i find myself, thinking similar thoughts to the above meme, about some other random person i cross paths in life with, for example, "this person is brainwashed, etc. blah, blah, blah", i will remember the above meme and remind myself ... this person is really no different from me or any other so, it's a waste of my energy to choose to behave in that way.
