The pro-choice is meant singular. One choice for the person/woman to decide. I am assuming you are a pro-life person. But I find it funny the people who say it is gods will when are arguing of a thing man created. Laws and goverment and such. Pro-choice is not entirely abortion made. It can also mean that a woman carries to term even if it causes her death. Doctors and husbands used to have immense power over women precivil rights movement. Women used to have to fall down stairs or use a coat hanger. Yeah it is easy to judge but you are not god. Neither is the law or medical practicies. That was that last some someone because if god exist his will is not what you feel. Minors and fetuses have no rights. If that were the case then any teenager could supersede their parents care or child to not go to school. So the term pro-life is to say that fetuses have a right to life and choice to exist but have no voice is your side of the argument. I don't disagree but I am man and buddhist. This is not to say I agree either I really don't care but I like to clarify and understand through thought. Your original memecomment had clarified what you post did not say. I was focusing on you word usage not validity or you view on the issue. Because that is your religious and political choice to make. You call the thing him and person but again legal definitions currently do not support that. Like animals and PETA saying fur and meat is murder. That argument doesn't hold water. Didn't then, doesn't now! The extreme numbers of abortions being performed would be healthy viable babies born to healthy women. The millions aborted for sheer convenience is intolerable in a civilized Nation!

Abortions can happen without legal consent or doctors care. I went far back to womens right that lead to the decision. Between 1920-1950's the landscape of our civilized nation still allowed segregation and oppression of woman by men whos husbands had every right to commit them or over ride their care. Not all but some were stuck with men that held thelm against their will. You say civilized nation but in your eyes or everyone's? I was pointing to the history of what terms the legality. 1960-present we had the civil rights and womens right movement almost correct our more perfect union. Life is precious but without the individuals right to choose free speech or religion it is not civil. Freedom does not mean only something you believe or agree with. This long thing I write is to clarify. Whether you agree or not is not my goal. The meme I thought could be clearer or more to the point. But it is not easily boiled down to people want to kill their own offspring. The people who choose to damn themselves (not my pov but yours) do not choose it lightly. But it was underground. Like drugs or prohibition making laws will not magic it away. Pray if you must. Most cases prosecuted or the prolife people focus on are the abortion. But the choice is the right for the women because they would die doing the procedure. Women died regularly which I guess would be okay with you prolife people. Because like I said it came about over decades of rights. A child under the age of eighteen has little to no rights. Right to life is not the same as right to care in the medical profession. Buddhism not only allows ancestral beliefs also allows the practice of another religion. Bhuddist can be muslim and christian to like japan shinto. It is somewhat like hinduism having mutiple ways to practice and understand through meditation. Whereas most of the time a religion requires only their own beliefs to be held above others. That part was not meant as a weakness or attack. If the point of you meme was a joke or satire of a political issue. Then why comment? I was merely being serious about the term pro choice. I wasn't judging anyone, all I was doing was pointing the illogical view of so many Americans that it is their choice to kill a human, without the human himself getting any say in the matter. That is all I was trying to say. My apologies if I offended you :).
