Too many people are saying the movie was good

I like the the idea of the meme, but I don't know why everyone is hating on Starwars 7 so much. Sure, it wasn't Brave Heart, but it WAS Starwars. :)

It's not so much directed against the movie itself, as directed against all the people that are saying it was good. Bad movies get made all the time. Disney struck out with Star Wars. Okay. Not the biggest surprise. But people are hyping it up and saying how amazing it was. That's why I felt something should be said to represent the other side.

If there weren't that many people saying it was a good movie, I probably wouldn't have made this.

I liked it, and thus far, I've heard no legitimate reason for disliking it.
Although I gotta say, Captain Phasma can't be defended. They had a chance to make a cool first female stormtrooper, and they blew it. Phasma is extremely lame.

Phasma might have been lame, but at least she wasn't as bad as Shrieking Feminist Harpy ("Waaaah! Stop taking my hand!") Rey, Cowardly and Deceitful ("darky on the run from his massuhs") Racial Caricature Finn, Blankman No Character Dameron ("I don't know what I'm doing but they just put me in the movie because I'm handsome") Poe, or Take Me Seriously Please ("I killed my father and I feel conflicted about it") Emo Tantrum Kylo Ren.

The legitimate reason to dislike the movie is having eyes and a brain. The movie sucked. The only reason people are even pretending it was bearable is because of the Star Wars brand. If it didn't have the Star Wars name attached to it, the headlines would have read something like, "Disney Makes a Strange Foray into Sci-Fi Fantasy Territory, and Drops a Dud."

I thought the movie was okay, but it followed almost the exact same model as A New Hope: Droid runs off with vital information, is found by unassuming future hero, meet Han Solo for transportation, infiltrate enemy base, tragic death of a hero (Han), and then a victory when the giant death laser is blown up. It was definitely worth the price, but the movies are starting to follow a set model now, which is unfortunate.

1, 2, and 3 also mirror 4, 5, and 6.

Mirroring is one thing and being a blatant rip-off is another. Especially when the rip-off isn't as good.
