so while it's true that the administration ultimately did engage fox news, back in 2009, obama & co. tried their hardest to exclude fox. if you were less blinded by your lock-step love of all things obama, you might recall all the times he refused to sit with fox. one of the most memorable was when he did a media tour to promote obamacare - even appearing on SNL, Between Two Ferns and Daily Show - but wouldn't go on fox news because he said it wasn't a news station.

That's because SNL, Between Two Ferns and Daily Show don't claim to be news.

Neither do the commentary segments on fox news.

Well that's 90% of the programming on Fox NEWS Channel. So guess what the die hard conservative viewers think it is.

And a generation of liberals took jon Stewart as a legitimate news source.
