The doctrine of 'Manifest Destiny' (along with slavery and white superiority ) was common in the 1800's.

Your insults are meaningless. I was involved in a national first nations Reconciliation movement that changed the landscape of my nation. Abuses were forgiven. Curses broken. Lives were healed and restored. Our elected national leader was a part of it. Hate, Fear, Racism and broken covenants are what you can CHOOSE to not be a part of. Forgive. Give back what was stolen. Be free again America.

Well, it's not like it was being used for anything useful by people that weren't merely primitive savages engaging in endless wars in a backward hunter/gatherer society.

Groups of people with distinct cultures, languages and customs. Many living in harmony with each other and the land. "Primitive Savagery" is a term which could be used on some of the devolved nation called "America". Land Raped. Waters poisoned. etc etc

Your santized, politically correcy Walt Disney version of Native American history is not even remotely close to the reality of tribes that engaged in slavery, almost constant warfare and even cannibalism. Show me the Native American libraries, hospitals and infrastructure... Say what? They don't exist, never did. And funny how every treaty was broken, but you bed wetting liberals want us to trust the same government and turn the whole country into an Indian reservation.

I have many first nations friends from this area. We redeem the cultured. Take the good out if the bad. Apologize for atrocities committed by the colonizers. Today these people are beginning to thrive on their ancestral lands. Not defeated....redeemed.
