How does that side quest work?

Handsome Jack, the evil dude who's always calling you to make threats, be all sinister and mastermind on you or just to generally troll actually gives the quest. can't remember exactly how it starts but along the lines of "you know you can't stop me. why don't you just give up? go on". so you then go to the specified location which is some little lookout point thing over a volcano. classy. i think it's more just one of their twisted humour quests cause i don't remember getting anything good from taking either path lol

So it's like the Giant's Drink in Ender's Game (no matter which option you choose, you die a horrible death)?

well you jump off the point and die, respawn (which depending on how much of a farming player you are can actually be reasonable) or you don't and he whines and abuses you, and i'm not sure if you get a different reward for that option. been a while since i played it
