If black pride is considered a good thing, why does white pride have such bad connotations? There have been good people and extremists on both sides.

It comes from whites rarely now being persecuted or a minority anywhere, so it is viewed as anti minority, archaic or regressive minded.

My immediate reaction to reading your reply was remembering several incidents I've had where my being white prevented my employment, but you said a very important word; persecuted. It is entirely true that it is uncommon for white people to be persecuted as a whole. That said, I'd say that, in this day and age, it is also very uncommon for other races to be persecuted; more commonly it is due to a particular groups beliefs.

But this is a far larger conversation that really should take place in some place outside of a meme website forum.
