Hey soooo, my ability to meme comment has apparently been taken away. I'm guessing because of the argument with tetsuowrath... All I was doing was defending myself though... He kept saying I wasn't a real Star Wars fan and kept calling me a liar and a troll for complimenting his meme but I wasn't trolling. It's BS... I've been cool with all the users since I joined, except "DaWeasel" because I found him insulting a new user. Can you help me?

I'm sorry to hear that you lost meme comment abilities. I'm not a mod so I can't do anything directly about it, except give you the advice that if you keep text commenting, then your reputation will improve as people upvote your comments, and at some point your meme comment privileges should come back.

If you think the decision was unfair you could appeal it to the Mods by letting them know through Feedback why you think it isn't right. I don't know if that would help your case or not.

I thought the dispute with Tetsuoswrath was a while back though. You only lost your meme comment rep now? It might not be related (unless you guys have been keeping the discussion going).

Tetsuoswrath is the only user to have a problem with me... all because he was mad that I liked The Force Awakens and kept saying I wasn't a real fan. When I talked about my Star Wars collection, he called me a liar and a troll which really pissed me off because I've been a fan for 20 years and just because his opinion differs from mine about the new movie he wants to deny my fandom... Despite all that I still tried to make peace in our first argument and he continued to attack me. Then a couple days later I saw his Star Wars meme and complimented it, and all he did was continue to insult me...

Ok. I just think it's odd that you lost your meme comment ability now, when the discussion seemed a while back. That's why I thought it might not be connected. I saw the one you guys were having on your "none of your business deathsticks" meme (the one you asked me to referee as a joke). That's all.

Anyway, the advice is still the same. Keep text commenting, and wait for the meme comments to come back. Feedback to the mods if you think it's worth a shot.

Yeah it continued on his Chewie at the dentist meme because I complimented it and he called me a troll and continued insulting me. My last comment was Sat morning and haven't been on since then. Thanks for the advice, I'll try to talk to the mods. Where do I go to message them?

Ok, I submitted the feedback. I wasted about 20 minutes at work writing my message to them so hopefully they read it lol.

There's another thing you can do that's similar to meme comments.

You can make a meme, then click show embed codes, and then copy and paste it into a text comment. When you trim the beginning and end off it (the parts in brackets), it comes out as blue text saying "Click to show." If people click on it, it will show your meme as if it's a meme comment.

It takes a bit longer (and I'm not sure if it would be all that easy to do on a phone, anyway), but it's another option until your meme comment ability comes back - which I hope won't take too long.

You can see some examples if you look for starflightthenightwing's comments near the bottom of front page memes (if you want to see what the result looks like).

That's a quote from him which is a complete lie because he kept saying I wasn't a real fan which he knew annoyed me because I told him it did along with his smiling memes from the previous argument. And he determined what my intentions were without giving me a chance.

Just trying to prove my case because I feel like it's not clear that I was defending myself and not trying to start anything on my meme or on his meme. This is another quote from him that he was trolling me with.

It's ridiculous that he thought I was trolling him when I complimented his meme. And when I went to it I was reading the comments and metalfan and tetsuoswrath were talking about some troll making fun of him for liking Star Wars and so I posted this from when I found "DaWeasel" being a bully to a new user because when I was defending the new user, "DaWeasel" made fun of me for liking Star Wars so I thought we could help each other and flag him. But instead "DaWeasel's" bullying comments were uovoted so I don't get it.

I went and looked at Tetsuoswrath's meme about Darth Vader and the wookie.

Don't take this the wrong way, but the way it comes across now, reading the comments you left, it gives the impression you're the one trying to keep the argument going with him.

It's hard to tell because I couldn't directly reply to his comments so it's all out of order. I really wasn't until he started insulting me again.

His first replies were the two meme comments where one said "troll much" and my first replies were above my cat meme where I denied that I was trolling. I made that joke going off of your comment and told metal fan not to reply unlesd he wanted a 200 comment thread which was just me trying to have a sense of humor about it, especially because half of the 200 comments were from me.

And my first comment on the meme was the leo meme saying "nice one" because I came across the meme and thought it was funny and tried to give him another chance after our previous argument from my meme. All I did was that and make a couple jokes and tried to help by posting a link to that troll, and he accused me of trolling, when he was incessantly trolling me in the previous argument by telling me I was only claiming to be a Star Wars fan and calling me a liar and troll.
