That depends alot on WHAT you do. I guarantee you can't help hundreds of customers in 30 min. And I certainly don't "sit around". For specific skilled workers (computer programmers, ect ) they might be able to work remotely. But in general, showing up to the work site and being on time are reasonable expectations. Even if you ARE a skilled worker, showing up to a work site and being on time are reasonable expectations.

I make food, and ring up transactions. I also restock sold product. That is not "socializing". What I do is not necessarily "skilled" labor (anyone can do itwith minimal training), but I do have to physically be there to do it, and do it for my full shift. What I am asking is what skill you have that is sooooooooo special that it exempts you from standard expectations, and that you think you should get paid a full day for 30 minutes of work. There are people who have those skills, but at this point you sound entitled and full of yourself.

If you "found your niche" why are you bitter that your management isn't catering to your every whim. That's whatyour original meme is about. Sounds to me like they should hire someone who actually is willing to work and doesn't complain about work conditions that are normal. I might not be able to do your job, but someone else is, since you don't want to. (I never said I could, especially since you are declining to tell anyone. Just act superior without backing it up. That'll get you so far in life. Have fun being unemployed but knowing you're "too good" for the available jobs.
