This happened to me, and probably a lot of other people.

Personally I like the latest and the further back I can go the better. A lot of good stuff never gets to the "hot pages" due to the time they were released, slow traffic or people not going past page 2 or 3. Sure you have to sift through some stuff that shouldn't get submitted, but you have to move dirt to find gold!!!

True, true. Latest tab gives you perspective, and everyone needs to spend time there to raise their game, understand what works, and what doesn't. Submitting memes without reading memes in Latest section is a recipe for failure.

By the way, even though I don't totally agree with the memes premise, it does deserve upvotes for getting good comments going! :)

It's because there's a wide age difference of the users here. And also differences in political and religious views I've noticed. And some users simply have a strong following, so their memes always get upvoted. Trick is to keep a good attitude and keep going and trying!
