Other details I would have loved to add... In that day, there were no specific round times... they fought untill knock down or throw as it was under rules that allowed wrestling moves also. The shortest round was Round 1 that ended after a throw... anouther round lasted 15 minutes. THE WHOLE FIGHT LASTED. 2:16:36 And was fought under a hot Mississippi Sun when the temperature was over 100 degrees. Today all that remains is a little brick marker next to the field where the fight took place, and a city Water Tank looms over the area and casts its shadow where the men once fought in the hot Sun.
