Depends. If you're complaint because someone ruined a movie by bringing a screaming baby, I'll agree that that is insensitive, and they should have stayed home. However the cost of a babysitter is way more than the cost of a movie. You can no longer just hire your local teenager. A typical night of babysitting is easily $100. A night at the movies (if you go to reasonably priced theatre, and skip concessions, or sneak in you own) is under $40. So if you're mad because a friend asked you to babysit, you might want to apologize.
If this a reaction to news story where someone left children anatended while they went out, the issue is NOT money. Kids always come first.
