This meme actually isn't about getting to the Front Page. It's more about showing people memes they might have missed. I just wanted to use 'Grumpy Ewok' for the picture, and it seemed like that's like something he would say. :)

I've seen great memes get looked over by users,... I love to see a newer have a hit meme! BTW,.. I REALLY like grumpy Ewok! I wish tets solo got more traction on that one,.. I think its great myself!

Grumpy Ewok rocks! I've used him in some comments but I haven't figured out a way to do a really good meme with him yet. Maybe he'd be good to use for Star Wars spoilers once enough time has passed that people don't mind seeing the spoilers.

People might not have the same taste as me. But I think my hope is that, if enough people see there's memes that they might be missing out on, they'll consider browsing through the 'Latest' stream to see ones that don't get popular.

I always try to check out as much as I can, I usually get sidetracked by the good ones I just have to comment on. I always check the pages of people I like for their new featured memes. Yet I do my best to do like yourself and make sure I'm not missing out on great memes; just because I'm rather new here and don't know everybody's screen name yet. I think I'm as fair and honest as possible when I upvote memes.

I try to err on the side of upvoting. No harm in that.

There are certain things I don't like to see, so I won't upvote, but mostly I'll upvote anything if it's a half-decent effort at a meme. More fun that way. :)

I agree, I think we all have certain things we don't like to see. I usually don't have much of a filter when it comes to what I say. But like with that new "Rooster" meme I just got featured. When I first got on this site that meme would be nsfw, but I think since I didn't use a certain word in the meme, it actually turned out funnier than it would have if I had used it. I try to think of it like, would I want my daughter to see it, thinking that has made me a better man since the day she was born.

Yep, I go through latest to find those gems myself! Fresh memes, straight off of the boat!

It's not necessarily a bad thing (and I didn't mean it that way), but it's just not as helpful for feedback if you like everything. Because if you say everything's good then it's hard to know what's really good. Does that make sense?
