Our sherrif here in GA says CCW holders should be armed at all times,.. and that all households legal to own,.. should own because of LEO response times. Have you ever heard the Sheriff Clarke of Milwaulkee? One of the best LEO's in the country! He acknowledges that response times are generally after a crime,.. encourages legal residents to be armed. Thugs will always have guns,.. hands down,.. period. Gun control restricts citizens,.. not thugs.

As a Canadian; wish I could understand more the USs obsession (for lack of a better term) with guns. I get that its for protection, or hunting and so on. It seems that its a very devisive issue with left n right wing population. It to me also seems regional and populous. A farm house in minnisota is gonna have a different type of perpetrator than a home owner in metro any town USA. But Im also inclined to believe theres a large portion of the populous that should not be able to own a weapon. Protecting your personal well being, home and children is one thing And believe me I have a bat in damn near everyroom, garage and shop and i will beat an ass. Ive shot many many guns cause everyone out here in the country has them and we do alot of skeet and targat shooting, but quite frankly the power and destruction heeded by these scare the shit out o me. Ive also had my share pointed at me and shot at ( misspent youth and all) to know the power, chaos and fear shared by both parties. Im not saying you should or should not own a weapon. But its the paranoia that propagates the need to carry allways. I like florida with the eminant domain law to protect your home n family armed shoot the f**ker in your house. And thats where we go wrong. Seriously wrong. Weve had many cases where a perp was shot rightly so in someones house or car, and the defender gets charge. And that is fuuuuucked. I will beat an ass and hard. But I would be charge then I would be in jail with that f**kstick family or friends. I dont think every Tom Dick or Harry should beable to carry just based on everyday livelyhoods. and I get the terrorist threat is out there lurking but you need the propper training and resources and the mental capacity to control a situation. So I really dont understand and most wont. Being a responsable pet owner is tough...a gun owner...even tougher. Thanx for my long winded queery, a little heavy but I hope we can share north and south ideologies butthurt free.
