In what way are Muslims the polar opposites of Christians?

Actually, Islam is mainly based off of the teachings of the same prophets of Christianity.(Jesus, Abraham, etc.) If I say that Abraham Lincoln had a son, and you say he didn't, we are still talking about the same man. Jews do not believe Jesus was God's son, but they believe in the same God as I. And in many ways, such as justice (eye for an eye), they are similar.

SPEAKING of the Scriptures it becomes clear that YaWeH Is a Father and a Son was looked for by the Jews... some believed it happened with Christ Jesus... the rest are still waiting. Identity of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob is not Questioned. Koran however pulls a sort of double tounged bait and switch. It says in many places that the God of Jews and Christians is the right God... even declares that true believers were alive in the times leading up to, and still continued in the time of Mohhamed... It then turns on a dime and when it names its God Allah... says Allah hath not a Son, and proceeds to paint a totally different picture of what their god resembles theologicaly than what has been shown of YaWeH over the previous 5000 years. Allah is a Decieving Spirit... not YaWeH.

My point is that Muslims and Christians are similar. I will not be such an idiot to sy they are THAT similar, but are similar nonetheless.

How about goals? Their goal is to serve God and be happy, and that is the goal of Christians:to follow the teachings of God best we can and we believe, in the end, that is the path to peace and happiness. Do you deny this?

You say that, but they both believe in Christ and that there is a polar opposite of Christ called the Anti-Christ.

So you say Muslims are devils? Nay, they are but people who believe in God a different way than us. Can you accept them as such?

NO... I SAID: They are following Decieving Spirits. And the Bible says (not me) that even the devils believe and tremble... so why should a belief in a "god" by itself be considered grounds for saying it is the same God... there are many gods but only One God...

Actually... the Muslims do not view Jesus as Christ or Messiah... but only as a prophet. But since their Koran tells them that the Bible is the truth... and that Jesus was of God and could not lie... They should then read for themselves and learn of Jesus the Messiah... the Son of God... but unfortunately they are like many Christians who also have never read the Bible through from cover to cover even once... sad reality. Truth is there... but is ignored. Reminds me of Wisdom in Proverbs 9th Chapter.

My point is not the they are not different, it is that they do have similarities, which you cannot deny.

HOT and COLD are also considered polar opposites... and yet they are both just references to Caloric Values.

I will let you believe what you will as long as I know that you do not think that Muslims are lesser people. Do you?

No... like as Paul said... I am a a sinner... and a chief among sinners... just another Human ball of flesh in need of Salvation by Christ.

Ok, as long as you try not to hate, detest, or think anyone less than a person you are a good Christian in my and God's book.

People are people... the Muslims themselves are no different than anyone else who has only Religion without true Salvation. True Salvation... being Born Again changes a person from the inside out with a Love that prevents most of the problems we see today. CHRIST... died for us... if he is in us, we will forever more be trying to live for him. It's an all or nothing deal...

So do you believe that you are an objectively better person than Muslims?

Now .. beyond your Rhetorical accusation... I will answer your oppinion of what is a fact.   The God of Christianity is the same God as that of Ancient Israel...yes... However To compare YAWEH with Allah is another matter...  Allah was probably one of the ancient gods of the  Bedouin tribes who's simbol was a moon. And there is some archaeology to back that up... idols with moons on them etc. 
More importantly however than the name being wrong,  is in what differences are taught in the so called Sacred Scriptures of both religions.

In the Bible (Old and New Testament)  God has an Only Begotton Son... Yaweh had a Son... and that Son is the Christ.  His name is Yeshua... or Jesus in our present language....
The Koran however says that Allah doesn't have a son.

They are not the same God.
