I've been going to an Iraqi barbershop for a long time. All Chaldean Christians from north of Baghdad. Great people. These folks love the Syrians...reject war...have strong families and a good work ethic. The Syrians are here. We are welcoming them. (families and properly vetted by immigration )
Boom! You nailed it! Properly vetted ! And 2.. Christians will assimilate much easier than a religion that still rapes, beheads,.. stones etc. Sharia law is not compatible with western law and culture.
I've had it with the racist flavored fear mongering. My parents were born in a Nazi occupied country in WW2. I can't wait for those refugees come here and embrace freedom...and Jesus.
If only they would embrace Jesus.. and what we Americans are getting upset at with Obama.. is that Syrian Christians are not getting approval to migrate in equal proportions. Muslims are getting priority. This is disturbing after the San Bernardino shooting. . And shows the weak vetting. The FBI has stated they cannot adequately vet them all with the the current process at the rate Obama wants them in. That is rattling people here.
Muslims converting? The penalty for apostasy is death. I'm sure some do. I would have to research. I'm more concerned about those that convert to Islam. . They are generally more radical and dangerous. I have never figured the attraction of a free western cultured woman to convert to Islam.. which treats women like cattle. I lived in the ME for 3 years.. our cultures conflict vastly. . And the basis of my concern to the refugees who are 80% male.. and cannot be adequately vetted. My other concern.. is why are Islamic countries not helping refugees?
