there's no credible source for this claim and the incident itself would only serve the broadest term for terrorism so i can't entertain this weird rumor

Good point,... but this administration doesnt like using the term "terrorism" at all. Random violence,... workplace violence, .. are their catch phrases. Even in Paris.

unless the act is political, then prematurely labeling an incident as terrorism only acts as terrorism itself, and fear mongering. it's unprofessional and unethical and actually causes more fear (terrorism)

Why not label it what it is when they know though? Paris was calling their attack terrorism. . And it was. Obama called it random violence. Ft Hood the same.. and several others.

the term terrorism has been so over used in america that it has lost its effective meaning. it just gets used as a vague political device for gaining popularity whilst feeding racism. whereas in france it can be used for its true definition without being exploited to the same political agenda as in america. addressing each attack on its own basis seems a more progressive way of devising safeguards. for example the famous "war on terror" proved to be a failure so i think they are trying to be more realistic

As a longtime resident of Las Vegas. I don't expect any further mainstream reporting on this incident. No one in Vegas is going to admit any terrorism, this will make it a federal non issue.
