I did read it. The US Constitution was ratified in 1788. The 13th amendment was ratified in 1865. Rubio, with his statement in support of "interpreting the constitution as originally constructed" is clearly in the "Pro-Slavery" group. Or he has a less than masterful grasp of the English language.
