Happens to me too. :)

I think it might be ordered by the time they were created, not by the time they were submitted.

So, if that's true, creating the meme shortly before you submit it might help it be higher in the stream (unless you upload your own image - those take longer to feature, and then all bets are off).

generally that seems to be the case. if you ask me, i think that's a bit of a silly way to run things

FTR, the irony of this appearing on latest pg1 has not been lost on me :)
