This is why when your memes get featured, they end up on page 10+

If that's true, then when you want to submit a meme you made a while back, it might be better to remake it first.

That's why I made this and submitted it this morning. Went right on the first page. Another meme I made before this one and submitted was finally featured, and appeared on page 3. One of the memes you suggested I submit, I did (without remaking it) and when it was featured it showed up on page 7. All the evidence is there and it makes sense from a technical perspective (insert long boring thing about SQL select statements, columns, and sorting here).

I have heard anecdotal evidence on the site that corroborates what you're saying (people have said it seems like their memes generally do better when they submit them shortly after making them).

I don't know. I make a meme and always submit it right away and sometimes they end up on page 2,644. Lol. I wish there we're a way to know for absolute certain.
