I don't like alt accounts. I guess I can understand the reason why some people make them (eg, to get more submissions per day if you're feeling really creative), but I don't think it's a good use of imgflip.

Yeah it's weird that there's only one submission. I remember someone found an account on the all-time leaderboard that had 0 submissions (but many creations). That was ever weirder!

Remember, though, don't go kicking down any doors and slaughtering people who own multiple accounts.

I'm not a fan of alts that people specifically make to cause trouble without it coming back on the reputation of their main account (e.g. write nuisance comments and downvote memes, etc).

Clinkster's a different story. I think he mainly does it because he has too many ideas for memes to fit into 3 submissions per day.

Either way, there's not much I see that we can do about it, except making sure to downvote malicious alt comments when we see them.

I agree,.. I don't have the resources or time for it,.. its enough handling one acct for me. I have noticed that the nuisance alts ( I like your term ), get DV more regular as users spot them. I have been leaving them be on my memes,.. but DV them silently when I see jerk-off comments on other user memes,.. yours included. They seem to disappear. I am getting better at spotting cts alts now,.. but if I am unsure I slip on an old meme to ask K to make sure its not cts. I got semi punked by a troll the other day,.. turned out to be cts.. K was helpful in advising. Are you familiar that inferno is with cts now? He almost had me,.. =)

Someone who has been leaving (recently) negative comments to memes is DaWeasel. Not sure what his issue is. I saw moshi leave a comment about him too. He is one of my inspirations to the negative comment meme I made that exploded on this site. I don't want to get in a flame war,.. and don't need a user making alts to be a nuisance,... but damn,.. with they could grow up.
