I say that I'm spiritual but not religious all the time but constantly praise God. Being spiritual means you believe in a higher power but not a specific doctrine. :)

I do wonder if the Earth isn't just a large animal in some way, but if it were, it wouldn't mean that there isn't a God or that God doesn't communicate with us in some form. And if anything, the Earth is more of a vessel than a creature.

She's probably swept up in the New Age movement and into chakras and energies too. I'm hesitant of all that stuff because it could be bullshit. :)
